"Rhwng Carreg a Môr,
Between stone and sea The houses built of natural stone and the wide frontages were my inspiration in Harlech. The small Welsh town is separated from the sea by a large sandy beach and a golf course. In my works, however, I decided to put the houses straight next to the water. At the exhibition opening a woman told me that many years ago the sea was reaching Harlech castel, so I was gladly surprised to find out that I have brought time back in my photos." |
